Sex in conversations these days doesn’t seem to be a very indecent topic for discussion, as compared to how it was in the past century. Today, men and women alike are more open to discussing their sex lives, their sexual preferences (be it straight or gay), as well as their sexual fantasies. Beach sex simply means that you do the deed in a place like the beach, which may be private or public. Some people may refer to this as exhibitionism, and a form of sexual expression that some couples may feel adventurous enough to do. As a matter of fact, world famous condom manufacturer, Durex, did a survey or Americans to find out what their fantasies are when it comes to sex. About 3 out of every 10 Americans asked said they would love to try beach sex for a change. That translates to about 28% of those participating in the survey. Next to beach sex, sex in the swimming pool or Jacuzzi is preferred by about 26% of respondents, according to the 2001 Durex Global Survey.
Are Americans the only ones who want to try beach sex as a bolder and naughtier alternative? Sources say the idea of beach sex, or real beach sex, seems to excite a lot of men and women in many parts of the world. Take for example the Scotsmen, who were mentioned in a February 2008 sex survey. It is said that about a quarter of people surveyed have had beach sex, and more than 40% have had sex outside.
Furthermore, in January 2008, Australian personal lubricant manufacturer, EROS, also surveyed some Aussie men and women about their adventurous sex life. The respondents claimed that more than 44% of them have had beach sex, and the thrill of it is probably because of the spontaneity.
